Old ruined Spanish house

 

 Old ruins in the town I live Candas. I like old ruins - houses or castles, I don't know why, may be it's something of a mystery about them. From artistic point of view they have lots of details, almost like abstract piece of art.

Little drawings in a beautiful Aviles park. It's amazing how many magpies in Asturias, they are very funny and enterprising birds.

Cudillero, Asturias drawings

 

 Cudillero is amazing little fishing and, of course, tourist town with colorful houses built on steep cliffsides and very narrow streets. Legends say that it was founded by vikings. 

I did those drawings using my photos as reference, it would be overwhelming to draw from life.

Asturias Coast

 There are a lot of spectacular cliffs with coves on a coast of Asturias, it's fun to try to draw them.

Beautiful rocky hill near the beach watercolor and pen drawing. I still didn't quite learn how to draw rocks properly, there are too many details. Keep learning.

Fountain heads Caños de San Francisco Fountain, Aviles

 Those funny heads are fountains and arranged horizontally each holding a spout for water to flow. It was fun to draw them.
